MSc Information Technology: pass with distinction
This course has introduced me to all aspects of information technology
from the principles of networking, to programming using C++, to new
technologies of Java and XML. My project was based on using XML and XSL to
produce SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics). I feel that my studying this course
shows that I am more than capable of understanding complex concepts
quickly. I am confident that I could swiftly learn any new relevant
information. I was also the Student Representative for the IT course. For
this I not only attended meetings, putting forward points made by students,
but I also produced a website, which contained the information from the
meetings. This can be found at http://www.cse.dmu.ac.uk/~mit99lb.
